It's been a while!- Favorite Past Announcers...

Holy Smokes Fellas! It's been a while! I looked and i haven't made a post in over a month! I've recently bought a house and started remodeling it so that's been taking up alot of my time. Sorry to have fallen off the face of the earth.... onto my topic...

What your guys favorite Sports announcer(s), past or present. Being a Vol fan, it doesn't get better than John Ward. He's got so many lines that i can hear in my head, it's crazy. Also, does anyone know where to find some of his quotes in mp3 or wav format. I found one site but the one i want is where, right after we won the title in '98, he says, "This year, the National Champions are clad in big orange."

Glad to be back to routine.

Go Vols!

SHAFTED!

Is it just me or were the Vols completely shafted in the backet. They went from being a probable #1 seed to the bottom #2 seed. I don't get it. Anyone else with me?

It's all right. When the world puts us on the back burner and forgets about us, we'll step up.

33 Hours of Fame....

Ok, so what every Vol fan feared the most happened Tues. night against Vandy. Everyone worried about having a "let-down" game and that worry became a reality.

It's not a total bad thing, i don't guess. It sorta of brings them down to earth right before the SEC/ NCAA Tourney's. Plus, they are still in good shape to get a #1 seed, especially if they can play well in the SEC Tourney. What's everyone's thoughts on the loss? I don't believe in things like "a good loss", but this isn't the end of the world is it?

THIS JUST IN....

In about three hours, the Big Orange will be the #1 team, not in state, not in the conference, but in the COUNTRY! And we're not talking about football either! MEN'S BASKETBALL!

Ok, so we've done it. The Vols took down Memphis. We've rejoiced; time to move on. What did everyone think of the game, and how do we not have a let-down game against Vandy tomorrow night?

The Time Has Come!

HERE WE GO! Both the Tigers and the Vols took care of business Wed. night and the #1 vs #2 matchup is set for Saturday prime time!

What are some keys to the game, and what is everyone's thoughts on whats going to happen?

The Vols need to keep their pressure D up and force some turnovers. It's going to take Lofton and JaJuan both to be on and take the lead for us. I believe they can do it. The team realizes what this game means and they're going to react. A win for the Vols gives them the bragging rights for the state, as well as helps the Big Orange out in recruiting.

Vols upset Tigers at FedExForum 109-106 in OT.

Go Big Orange!
